If you refer anyone to Hometown Storage as a new renter of storage or parking you'll receive $50 in the form of a check or a gift card. Make sure to give your name and a way to contact you, either phone number or email, to the new customer so we can get in touch and give you your referral reward.

Our primary region is Oakwood and Gainesville Georgia and the areas surrounding Lake Lanier. Our facility is also a great location to store your lake toys or to rent a UHaul truck if you're coming from out of town. We are located on McEver Road between Mundy Mill and Brown’s Bridge Rd., so are convenient to the homes, apartments, and businesses in that area, including the University of North Georgia.
When you rent your unit, the system will assign you an access code to open the gate to the facility and to open the door to the building and floor where your storage unit is located if you rented a climate controlled unit. You also use this code to exit the facility when leaving. Your access code will also be in the Welcome Letter you will receive via email.
